柯萨奇病毒A组16型（coxsackievirus A16，CA16）是手足口病的主要病原体之一。近年来手足口病的不断暴发和流行使CA16日益引起人们的重视。此文就CA16的流行病学、蛋白的结构和功能、实验室检测方法和疫苗开发4个方面进行阐述，希望对手足口病的认识和防控起到促进作用。

 Coxsackie virus A16 (CA16) is one of the main pathogens of hand, foot and mouth disease. In recent years, the continuous outbreak and epidemic of the disease has increasingly drawn people's attention to CA16. In this paper, the epidemiology, protein structure and function, laboratory detection methods and vaccine development of CA16 are summarized for the purpose of promoting the awareness and prevention of hand, foot and mouth disease.
